The ‘Little Artists Big Dreams Drawing Competition’ organized by the Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF HK) was successfully held on the 23rd of February. Over 1,500 children aged 12 or under signed up for the Competition. These talented young artists gathered at the lawn at Central and Western District Promenade regardless of the rain and drew to express their world fueled by imagination!
We’d like to express our appreciation for your participation and support towards improving health of mothers and babies in rural China. Together with the donation from Principal Sponsor, Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group, and full support from Creative Sponsors China Resources Charitable Fund and LEGO® Hong Kong, more than HK$1.55 million has been raised to support UNICEF’s ‘Cash Transfers for Deprived Children’ project—enough to provide prenatal care to near 4,900 pregnant women in rural China.
We will send out an e-Certificate of Participation to your registered email address in mid March 2019 as a token of appreciation. There are 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place and 20 Consolation Prizes for each of the 3 groups. Results will be available on the event website in April 2019.
Event highlights will be uploaded to UNICEF Hong Kong Facebook page shortly. We look forward to seeing you in our future events!
